One year

I started this blog one year ago today with the goals of keeping it up for one year and, in the spirit of inquiry, asking questions that might start a conversation about poetry and writing poetry—questions of craft and general perseverance.

I hope that you've enjoyed some of the posts, and that you have found some of the questions useful or at least intriguing. That said, I'd like to keep it going (even when I have to type with one hand because the kitten is chewing on my other thumb).

If there's anything you'd like to see more or less of—for example, more pictures and less whining—let me know. As noted, one goal was for this little weblog to be a place for conversation.

On to the next year!

I always love your questions and poetic thoughts. Of course, I always love photos too.

I guess just more of the same!

by the way, I think I saw you Thursday 12/6 around 4ish? at Westlake Center. Stop by my blog, I think you are my missed connection! (I was sitting with Annette spaulding-convy and I saw you pass and too late I said, "I think that's Joannie!)

Anyway, I wish I could have said hello!

Thanks, KA. I'm glad you enjoy it. I'm hoping to get a real camera soon, so I can post better pix. And I think that was me. I stopped by your blog and left a note.

We were sitting on one of those concrete slabs outside Starbuck's watching the band, so I was at a little to the side, so by the time I saw you, was pretty sure it was you and was ready to yell "Joannie!" the moment was passed.

I was sitting with Annette Spalding-Conv y (FB winner 06) and she said, "Oh 3 floating bridge authors in such a small space!"

Anyway, you looked great and it was nice to see someone knew in the big city!
