I'd read something (possibly or probably a poem) that described the painting by Bosch and Icarus falling while people and livestock stood by, not really looking--and I thought about Daedelus and his great plans and it just made me wonder what that son's mother would think of such high-flying schemes. I thought it might make a good poem.
