Joannie, We walked to the store last night to gather up baking ingredients for today. It was so beautiful with all the Christmas lights and streetlights, and definitely grainy-floury and not at all the soaking kind of snow we usually get. Of course we were out in it all day again today and will take a break for dinner and a movie tonight, but I suspect we'll be out walking in it again tonight. Happy Holidays!
I loved the dry light snow, and then we got the crust of ice, and yesterday we got our usual soaking snow. Oh, no! Could we end up with avanlanches in the back yard?
